About

A modern Zimbabwe. Many ways to belong.

Our people-first editorial mission, contributor principles and corrections policy.

One nation. Many stories.

Across Zimbabwe is a cultural storytelling platform about Zimbabwe’s people, places, languages, heritage, creativity and shared future. Our point of view is people first, not party politics.

Unity through understanding, not by erasing differences. We seek stories that make room for nuance, dignity and a forward-looking sense of belonging.

How we tell stories

  • Distinguish documented history, personal testimony, interpretation and opinion.
  • Use qualified sources and invite cultural and historical review.
  • Obtain informed consent for interviews and identifiable footage.
  • Attribute photographs, video, sources and quotations clearly.
  • Never present one guest as the voice of an entire community.

Contributors

Our contributor programme is in development. No names, biographies or interviews will be published without confirmation and permission. We welcome future work from writers, filmmakers, photographers, artists and people with relevant cultural knowledge.

Corrections policy

When an error is verified, we will correct it promptly and add a dated note explaining material changes. Contributors and readers should have a clear way to raise factual, cultural or attribution concerns.

Our contact delivery service is not yet active. Until it is connected, corrections and contributor enquiries cannot be submitted through this website.
