Community & moderation

Honest dialogue. Clear boundaries.

Across Zimbabwe’s dialogue safeguards, reporting policy and moderation requirements.

Public comments, uploads and live submissions are closed. They will not launch until moderation and a working reporting channel are available.

What is welcome

Good-faith questions, evidence, clearly labelled personal experiences, cultural pride without superiority, and disagreement with ideas and actions.

What is not allowed

  • Ethnic slurs, dehumanisation or attacks on whole communities.
  • Threats, harassment, doxxing or non-consensual personal information.
  • Calls for violence or intimidation.
  • Impersonation and knowingly misleading representations of sources.

Survivor dignity and consent

Survivors must not be pressured to disclose experiences or accept reconciliation. Sensitive testimony requires informed consent, editorial care and control over what is published.

Moderation process before launch

A designated moderation team, pre-publication review of submissions, a documented removal and escalation process, and a fair appeal route must be established before community participation opens.

Reporting harmful content

The contact form includes a “Report harmful content” subject, but delivery is not connected yet. It is not an active reporting channel. Public participation remains closed until a working report and review process exists.
