Accessibility

Stories should be open to everyone.

Our accessibility commitments and the current publication’s accessibility features.

Our commitment

Across Zimbabwe aims to make its stories usable across devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is part of the editorial process, not an afterthought.

This website

  • Semantic headings, descriptive image text and a skip-to-content link.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus states.
  • Layouts that adapt to small screens and text enlargement.
  • Reduced-motion support and no autoplay media.
  • Clearly labelled forms and submission status messages.

Audio, film and documents

No video episodes are published yet. Future episodes must have captions and an accessible transcript before publication. The reconciliation paper will be available as web text as well as a reviewed PDF.

Feedback

The contact delivery channel is not yet connected, so accessibility reports cannot currently be sent through the website. A working feedback route will be announced before submission services open.
